Robb began his career at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Hospital in 1995 as a data specialist and librarian. In 2001 he assumed the position of Information Architect for the Osher Research Center. In addition to managing the Research Center's considerable information resources, he is also webmaster. He is also staff administrator for the Research Center's education initiatives and was grants manager for its botanical studies up until 2008. He holds a Masters of Library Science degree from the University of Tennessee and came to Beth Israel Hospital originally to work with at its academic computing center.
